A. WALLACE

"there's a little place inside my heart where i can sit a while and stay awhile and wait for all my friends to either go away or pass away."

aaron john wallace, the warmest heart i know, his songs are trilled out in a fine heartbreaking falsetto, the lyrics are so pretty and honest, it's hard to watch him sometimes, alot of people i know have come out crying during his sets, he has a way to get into you and rouse things, things you keep under control so you can complete simply daily tasks, but watching aaron sings i being reminded that it hurts to live and even when you do it right, people are terrible and painful.

A. WALLACE

realeases: Dark Hallways And Other Ghost Songs, self released.

he glues a pouch into the back or front of childrens books and inserts a cd and some lyrics and that is they way he makes his first record.

TICKLEY FEATHER

this stuff is something special, it's got that wonderful quality about it that kicks on a part of your brain thats a lonely kid. at least for me anyways, it trails off like beautiful kinds of smoke and comes back in, sometimes it's just the girl named annie and a preprogramed keyboard track that can do it right. there is a wonderful echo on her voice and while i haven't picked up any of the lyrics from being hypnotized by the thick waft of squiggly melody, i get the primeval feeling they are good:

WICKED HEMLOCKS

"meanwhile across town under a bridge the ceremony started to take place, no one had any idea what was happening right beneath their feet"

see, i'm a real sucker for music like this, it's like an outerspace cartoon, really bright and twisted and stuff, alot of vocal harmonies, running on that francis plagne or ariel pink kick, i mean, i'm not trying to say anything about who they like or listen too, but just that it's got that same nostalgic shift about it that plagne or pink does have. it's recorded with some dirt in it which i like and one of the songs has a great heavy deep voice over it and the voice is saying that thing i quote up there below the picture.

WICKED HEMLOCKS

They are releasing a record called: "quill of the mad" out on "stick in your spokes records" and they are from brooklyn, new york.

PEOPLES COKE

"Peoples Coke is an unpredictable project by Warren Krick."

the name warren krick reminds me of a skinny boy with special glasses and a leg brace, but he probably isn't like that, his stuff right now seems to be a magic mix of calculated silence and also very controlled mouse noises and piano and strings and all kinds of stuff and in my head he records all of this by a river with funny instruments, but you'd better just go and listen to it i think:
